Terms and Conditions - Window Furnishing Orders

  • A 50% deposit is required to confirm your Window Furnishing order. The balance outstanding is to be paid prior to installation.

  • Payment of your deposit indicates acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

  • Estimated time from check measure to installation is generally 6-8 weeks. This can vary depending on availability of fabric, schedule of workroom and availability of appointments for measuring and installation. We will advise you of expected timelines as early as possible. Public holidays and Christmas closures/deadlines can greatly affect timelines.

  • All delays by Suppliers are not the responsibility of Meredith Lee. Arrival dates are estimates provided by the supplier and may change.

  • Take down of existing window furnishings has not been allowed. The minimum charge for this service is $30 per window (inc. gst).

  • If installation is delayed beyond 8 weeks from date of ordering then a further 40% of the total contract price must be paid upon completion of manufacturing. The remaining 10% would to be paid prior to installation.

  • All window furnishings are a final sale, no cancellation, no returns accepted after payment has been received.

  • We allow for one professional check measure and one installation appointment in our quotes. If additional appointments need to be added due to site circumstances or upon your request, then additional charges may apply.

  • Once your order has been confirmed and proceeded to supplier ordering, any request for changes must be sent in writing. We will do our best to assist to help but cannot guarantee that changes can be made. Variations agreed to will incur additional costs.

  • Colours selected from samples can vary slightly between batches, this is not a fault and is unable to be controlled by the Designer or Supplier.

  • Curtain and blind fabrics using woven materials can be subject to movement (including shrinking and dropping) depending on the fabric composition and site conditions. This is not a defect.

  • Title to these goods shall not pass until payment has been received in full for this invoice as well as all other amounts owing by you.

  • Refunds will not be given except where required by law.
